Deafest is such an exquisite brand of black metal. I've had many discussions with the man behind this band about his music, and through those discussions what I've found to like most about Deafest is the post rockish upswing in melody and the emotional release inherit in the end of most Deafest tracks. Deafest is certainly set apart from its contemporaries. Such a great band, and the creation of a man I'm proud to call my friend.
